Registration with Consular Section

All U.S. citizens residing in or visiting Armenia are strongly encouraged to register with the Consular Section at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/. Registration with the U.S. Embassy is only available through this secure website. If you registered previously, but not online through the IBRS website, you must re-register using this system. The data provided in the registration is accessed only by cleared personnel in U.S. Embassies, Consulates, and the Department of State, and releasable only under the provisions of the Privacy Act. Registration through the website is not considered proof of citizenship.

The registration helps the Embassy provide important services to American citizens abroad: issuing a replacement passport, locating individuals in cases of family emergency, relaying important travel and safety information about the region, and other administrative services relating to personal documentation. . Please complete the on-line registration form, paying close attention to each of the question fields. The more information you provide the Embassy, the better we are able to assist you in the event of an emergency.

If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions about our travel registration website, please send an e-mail to CAIbrs@state.gov. If you have specific questions about your registration with this Embassy, please contact us at acsyerevan@state.gov.
